Kinetically simulation of photo-Fenton process in removal of sulfamethazine, ciprofloxacin, sulfathiazole and amoxicillin by Monte Carlo modeling

Kinetic Monte Carlo modeling was employed to investigate the kinetics and photodecomposition mechanism of sulfamethazine, ciprofloxacin, sulfathiazole, amoxicillin antibiotics by photo-Fenton process (iron(III) citrate/hydrogen peroxide in presence UV irradiation). The reaction kinetic mechanisms each degradation mentioned above have been achieved. rate constants values for step (including antibiotics) were obtained as adjustable parameters simulation. optimized iron(III) citrate hydrogen investigated through obtaining effect their initial amounts on antibiotic elimination utilizing perfect agreement is observed between simulation results experimental data systems above.
